The Rev. Victor Kischak
Rector
The Rev. Victor Kischak became the Rector of St. Georges on November 15, 2022. Victor is a graduate of Huron University College in London, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. Upon graduation, Victor was ordained deacon in 2005 and priest in 2006 in the Diocese of Huron. He has since ministered in London, Paris, Woodstock, and most recently at Church of the Holy Saviour, Waterloo. Prior to the pandemic, Victor was also an instructor at Renison University College for 11 years where he taught a variety of courses in biblical studies, preaching, and theology, including one on Engaging Children with Scripture.
The Rev. Canon Jean Mitchell
Priest Assistant
Jean is the Priest Assistant at St. George's Church. She is also the Council Liaison for Pastoral Care. She visits people in the hospital and assists with various services. Contact her if you are in the hospital or require pastoral care.
Jeff Enns
Music Director
Jeff began his music ministry at St. George’s on Sunday, October 1st.
Jeff has been a church organist and music director for 25 years in the Waterloo-Wellington area, and has participated in church music for over 35 years. He comes to us after several years at Church of the Holy Saviour, Waterloo. In addition, he is currently the Head of Music at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate, Kitchener. Jeff is a professional singer with the Elora Singers and the Elora Festival Choir.
He is a well-known choral composer; our choir has had the pleasure of singing his Litany for Ukraine, written last year in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Jeff has a love of Anglican Church music, which includes a variety of church music styles spanning 600 years: from early chant, to Choral Eucharist and Evensong, and through to contemporary repertoire, jazz and improvisation.
Bruce Mackenzie
Office Administrator
Bruce joined the staff team in 2021 as Office Administrator. He is the main contact point for all church and facilities inquiries.
Tracy Jewell
Bookkeeper
Tracy takes care of all the bookkeeping tasks for the parish. Contact her for any finance-related questions. She is in the office on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons.
Harry Oussoren
Facility Manager
Harry is our part time facilities manager, coordinating the maintenance of the building and property inside and out.
Maryjane Oussoren
Bookings Coordinator
Maryjane is our Bookings Coordiantor, the contact person for all rental inquiries.
Toni Atieh
Sexton
Toni looks after our precious and much-loved building, keeping everything spotlessly clean and in good working order.
